How do you connect a Windows7 pc to MacOSX mountain Lion Server

I am trying to setup a network using OS X server (mountain Lion) which will use either XP or Win7 as the desktop clients. The users will need to share files that will reside on the server.

Also can Outlook be used as a email client to connect to the Mail App on the server and can the Calendar function be utilised in outlook toreadthe Calander App on the server.
